Napili Bay - New Year’s Eve 2019

Nearly uninhabited Molakai Island blocks north Maui from the majority of  major northwest swells that pound Oahu's North Shore. But when the North Pacific's biggest winter storms generate long period swells, the waves sometimes bend around Molakai's northeast corner and penetrate down the Pailolo Channel to Honolua Bay, Little Makaha, and even Napili Bay.
