Kauai - Outer Reef at PKs - July 2019

Heavy south swell pounds PKs (Prince Kuhio) outer reef in July 2019. Very shallow impact zone! First time to try PKs. Paddled out over the reef and discovered that it is EXTREMELY shallow (couple of feet) in the breaker zone. For a bodyboarder, I felt this might end well so I decided to punt for now. Maybe try it again when a bit smaller. Lot more fun just east of Beach House restaurant closer to shore.
